A Day in Zoo Taiping!

Zoo Taiping, the oldest Zoo in Malaysia established in 1961, located at Bukit Larut, Perak.

It is the only in the North Malaysia which covers 34 acres and exhibits 1300 animals representing 180 species of amphibians, mammals and reptiles. It also has a night safari where animals which are active at night are displayed using special lighting similar to moonlight. 

Zoo Taiping is maintained with a natural environment and the best natural setting with streams, lakes and the abundance of flora & fauna gives the zoo a unique advantage of being able to use the nature to its best.  This provides the opportunity for visitors to experience and appreciate the treasures of nature. 

#1- You will get impressed when you see a group of fishes swim toward you.

#2- Orang Utan (Scientific name: Pongo Pygmaeus),  has very long and strong arms. They feeds mainly on fruit, especially on figs, but it also eat leaves, bark, shoots and flowers

#3- She is too tired or too fat to move? ;p

#4- Photogenic Monkey and it really know how to pose like a model.

#5- Giant Alligator

#6- We took minutes to spot it. 

#7- I felt sorry to the animals when I see this picture. Human is taking away their habitat. They lost their families and freedom because of us. Please do love animals! 

#8- The owl is wisest of all birds because the more it sees, the less it talks. 

#9- It is rare to see piggie in Malaysia's zoo, isn't it? 

#10- The background view is real. Don't doubt!

#11- In race between Lion & Deer, many times deer wins because  Lion run for foods & Deer for life. "Purpose is more important than need."

#12-  I don't know the name of this birds. Is it white crane? Correct me if I am wrong ya!

#13- My super model!

#14- This cutie birdie is walking freely around the garden. Bird escape seriously??? 

#15- Life fails to be perfect, but never fails to be beautiful. 

#16 - Ostrich: Another bird that doesn't fly. It is the biggest bird in the world and can run fast though- even faster than a horse.

#17- Elephants never forget!

#18- Quotes of Giraffe: Aim High, Stand Tall and Get Soptted!

#19- Swiming tiger. I guess the weather is too hot.

#20- Sweet couple of buffalo.
