Joyce Love Outing!

Hi all. How is your weekend? Well spent or started to have Monday blue symptoms? Anyway,It is a wonderful Sunday as I have a good mood today. Well, if you followed my blog all the time, you sure knew about Joyce! Still have no hint who is Joyce? Opps....then probably you need to read Joyce 1 and Joyce 2 before you continue to scroll down this post. Oh ya! Forgot to tell you all that we rename her with a sweet name, Joyce.

OK... I assumed all of you knew about Joyce now. Yeah! It is the puppy that we saved last year during our hiking. We decided to adopt her after her miracle recovery. Time flies, she has grown up to be an adult dog now. And I would like to take this opportunity to give a big thanks to my best friend, Priscilla Lim, her husband Jeffrey Leow, ah Long the dogs keeper of the shelter and of course a must-thanks person, Jerry Leow. Thank you so much for taking good care of Joyce and provided her a good shelter so that she can have friends to play with. Thanks for sending her for medications and bought her so many nutrient foods when she was sick on the past April. Yes, Joyce was in critical state again on April. She got the bacteria infection on her stomach which caused internal bleeding and she was unable to consume any foods. She kept vomiting and dehydrated. Luckily Jerry sent her to the clinic immediately and even doctor also said that she just has 10% chance to be survived! Seriously I cried when I knew about that and prayed hard for her. With the encouragement and prayers from all of us, miracle happened again.  May be she knew that we are so care about her and we totally don't want to lose her. She discharged from the clinic after 1 weeks of hospitalization. Poor baby! But I am amazed by her strong and tough character. Joyce! We feel proud of you.

We brought her for outing to the Pulau Betong last Saturday. Pulau Betong is a small island on the southwest corner of Penang Island. It is rarely known and seldom visited by the mainstream tourists. The reason why it is not as famous as the beaches at Batu Ferringh might due to the beach at Pulau Betong is remote plus there is no public transport that can reach there through a small and hilly road. The views on the way toward the beach is spectacular and you can't believe that Penang Island has such a beautiful and peaceful place.   We spent a quality together with Joyce at the Pulau Betong's beach.

#1- I cooked for Joyce her favourite vegetable porridge! She had it at the shelter before we depart to Pulau Betong.
#2- She felt satisfied after having her meal.
#3- Now I only realized that Penang Island do have paddy field.
#4- Such a beautiful view!

We feel thankful that Joyce come to our life by bringing the happiness to us! I had learned many lessons by having her! I had learned how to take care of a dog, how to communicate with them and how to be a responsible person. One of the most valuable lesson that I learn from Joyce is never ever give up when we face problem! I love you, Joyce!

Beverly
