Hiking + Dog Rescue Mission!

Hello Buddies. What is your plan or activities during the weekend? Go shopping or stay at home and sleep for the whole day? As Steven is coming back to Penang for 2 weeks, we decided to spend time together and go hiking at the Tiger hill near Air Itam Dam, Penang. Wake up early in the morning at 7am, pick up Steven, buy some foods & drinks and we are heading to the destination. We started the hiking around 9am and enjoy the mother nature. It is a windy Sunday and the air is freezing cold. The walkway is cemented but that won't make our journey any easier. So, be ready to take the challenge.

I named them as S2 (Stevie & Steven)!

Started our journey happily and we love outdoor activities.

While we are hiking to the other side of the Penang, Balik Pulau, suddenly we heard sounds. A sound come from the place nearby the path way. When we listen carefully, it is a sound came from a puppy which yelled for HELP.  

OMG! The puppy injured and stuck on the fence.

Rescue team in action!

We tried our best to get her out from the place but she keep yelling for pain.

Finally we success to get her out.

Checking for her injury and it is quite serious. The puppy is unable to stand up by herself at all.

We used towel to keep the puppy warm.

We decided to carry the puppy down from the hill to get medication.

Poor puppy!

We sent the puppy to the Veterinary clinic for the emergency checkup. The X-ray scanning had been performed to see whether there are any bone fracture which might cause the puppy unable to walk or sit. According to the doctor, there are no any bone fracture on the puppy which mean that the puppy's neuron system is partially damage which caused her paralyzed. Doctor said that what we can do now is try to cure the puppy with medicines and hope that it will help in the neuron system to be recover naturally. If the puppy still unable to walk or sit in this coming 4-5 days, mean that the puppy is permanently paralyzed for the whole of her life. If this bad situation happened, doctor advise us to put her into sleep permanently to prevent her for suffering. Really sad and feel like crying when heard that.

Bought the foods and soap for our cute puppy.

She is recovering slowly after the medication.

We name the puppy as "Spider" and pray that the puppy will have a speedy recover and able to walk soonest. Spider, be strong and get well soon ya!
