Penang National
Park is the first protected area which is legally published under the National Park Act of 1980. This showed the effort of State and Federal
Government to protect the environment. It was established in order to preserve
and protect the flora and fauna. The
park is a harbour for a wealth of 417 flora and 143 fauna species.
Penang National
Park is a good place to stop over for
exploring the lush greenish and get out from the hectic city life. By walking or hiking, it lead you to Pantai
Kerachut, Monkey Beach, Muka Head Lighthouse and others beaches. The walk or hike will take approximately 1~2
hours journey.

How to get there?
Penang National Park is about 30km and take around 45 minutes by car from the capital, Georgetown. You can also take the Rapid Penang bus, U101 from Weld Quay.
