Bon Odori Festival Celebration

Hello everyone.Sorry for the long wait. As per previous post (Penang Bon Odori Festival is Coming to Town), i did promise to share with you all about my celebration of the festival. This was the first time i joined the festival and i had fun with it. There were hawker stalls selling japanese and local foods all along the road, Japanese dances and performances, ghost house, games and others activities. The moment that i loved the most was the firework show. The fireworks are so beautiful and impressed. Without any delay, here are all the photos that i managed to capture during the festival.

#1- The Esplanade crowded with people who wanted to join the Bon Odori festival.

#2- You can see women, men and children who worn the Kimono at every single corner of the Esplanade.
#3- A pretty lady and her doggie in the same design of Kimono. How sweet!

#4- The doggie in Kimono. It's so cute, right?

#5- I grabbed this opportunity for sure to take photo with the cute doggie. It's so adorable.
#6-Female Cosplay.
#7- Male Cosplay
#8-The Japanese ghost house. You can hear people keep shouting inside the ghost house. I was not dare to try for this. Ok. I'm such a coward.

#9- Game: Get the balloon in the water by using pin.

#10- Another interesting game: Catch the gold fishes by using the paper net. I did not have the chance to try it as too many people queue for their turn.

#11- Mini Kimono.

#12- The colourful Japanese umbrella.

#13- The suit of Kendo.

#14- Photo shooting of Kimono.

#15- The Japanese Mask.

#16- YOSAKOI Soran by Syougakubu and PMJFS.

#17- Drum performance by DAGAYA.

#18- A sea of people.

#19- The building of Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang.

#20- Takoyaki, a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat-flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan.

#21- The Japanese Pizza.

#22- The fireworks show at 10pm sharp.
