Penang Heritage Day

George town was accorded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO since 7th July 2008 and it is a public holiday of Penang in view of George town World Heritage City Day. I grabbed this opportunity for sure to experience and celebrate this significant day.

 #1- One of creative art which is located at Armenian Street.

#2- The advertisement of Nyonya Beaded Shoes.

#3- Malay's traditional dance and songs. 

#4- Personally i like this picture so much.

#5- Back to old time.

#6- Dragon dance.

#7- Meng Eng Soo Temple, one of the significant Chinese temple.

#8- Ancestor plate in Meng Eng Soo Temple.

#9- We had the chance to meet with the Chief Minister of the State of Penang, Lim Guan Eng.

 

#10- I like the idea of printing the newspaper in old style.

#11- Tayangan Wayang Kulit at the Heritage site.

#12- Tell you what, i participated in the game during Heritage day and won this gift. Happy. ^_^.

I'm enjoy to know about the history and the wonderful arts of Penang. Although i'm not Penang born citizen, i'm very proud to live in Penang now. I love Penang.
