Penang Bridge International Marathon: Running Clinic

The very first Penang Bridge International Marathon Running Clinic was held on last Sunday at Penang Botanical garden from 7:30-10:00am.  The Running Clinic is free of charge and the runners who attend can get the cool tips and tricks on running from a professional trainer, Frank Chong. Sound great, right?  As one of the participant and the marathon beginner, I definitely need a basic kick-start on running for the improvement of my running performance . It's time to build up my stamina and prepare for the challenging Marathon.  


#1- The Running Clinic was conducted by professional trainers.


#2- A good warm-up is very important before start the run to ensure our muscles are well supplied with  oxygen. It's also help to raise the temperature of our muscles for optimal flexibility and efficiency. 


#3- The runners started the run together with trainers.
#4- Water Station with light food and 100 plus were prepared for the runners.


#5- 5-10 minutes of Cool-down is a must after the run to keep our blood flowing throughout our body as sudden stop from excises can cause light-headedness when our heart rate and blood pressure drop quickly.
#6- The first 200 participants who signed on had the chance to receive the freebies exclusively from
ASICS.
