Time: It's FREE but Priceless!

Nowadays, we're living in hectic life and have to run faster and faster just to stay in one place. It's so often for those day to hear "Oh, you know that I'm so busy?". Am i right? A high premium had been put on our personal productivity due to the high demands of the competitive environment. It's mean that if you are not productive, then you are OUT!

All of us are trying our best to catch up with things we MUST do or SHOULD do and definitely have no time to do the things that we WANT to do. We will feel trapped and unable to do anything. Really!

A meaningful life is not a matter of speed or efficiency but it's much more of a matter of what we do and why we do it than how fast we get the things done. Have your ever wished for having more TIME? Perhaps a 36-hours day? Sound great, isn't it? Surely we will think that with this so called "extra time", we would be able to relieve the pressure under which we live! Unfortunately, it is not as what we think. Our live is a track of unfinished tasks. Would MORE TIME really can solve this predicament that we are in now?

Time is a very unique resource which everyone has the same amount and it cannot be accumulated. It neither can be turned or off nor can it be replaced. It can has to be spent at the rate of 24 hours per day, 60 minutes per hour and 60 seconds per minute.Time management or rather we name it as EVENT CONTROL is like the management of others sources which we can get the benefits from analysis and planning.

In order to understand how to manage our time, we need to know how we use our time through understanding the problems encountered and what causes them. Better Time Management will improve our EFFECTIVENESS and EFFICIENCY. Time Management is a personal process and we need to learn to use it to fit our life-styles and a commitment to change old habits.

So what controls your time? The best place to start is to determine to what extent are controlling the time available to you. No one has total control over daily schedule as someone or something will always make demands. However, everyone has some control and probably more than we realize. You have the freedom to choose.

There are 3 WAYS to make better use of your time:
1. Discontinue low-priority tasks or activities. You have to make sure that the activity is necessary. You should reduce your tasks to the essential elements.
2. Be more effective than efficient at what you do. (Effective is do the right things while Efficient is do things right.)
3. Find someone else to take some of your tasks. Delegation hold the key. But remember delegate tasks not mean that delegate responsibilities.

The BENEFITS that you can get if you are able to manage your time well:
1. Detect your mission and create a proactive model of your destiny.
2. Definitely you have more time to read to make sure you will stay current in today's complex world.
3. You will have more time to relax to avoid burn out.
4. You will have more time to communicate with your family and friends and improve the relationship.
